How to place the order and the timings?

One can order by Internet and if it is not available, they can always order by phone. The customer care executives of the company are available from 8 in the morning to 11 at night. A point noteworthy is that the delivery time depends upon the operational timings of the restaurant which is from 7am to 11pm. As far as the timings of delivery are concerned, they depend considerably on the train schedules. TravelKhana coordinates with the restaurants and ensures that the food is delivered to the passenger on the station where they want it to be delivered. If one wants to cancel the order, they can do it one hour before the train reaches the station. The customer needs to call the customer service, and, in case of pre paid orders, an administrative charge of 10 % is levied for 24 hours before cancellation, and this extends to 25% before one hour of cancellation.

What if the train is late?

As already mentioned the company makes it a point that they track the train timings so that one can get quality food on their seats. In the event of the train being late for more than 2 hours, the customer care executive will get in touch with you to confirm on whether you are still interested in going ahead with the order or not. In case the train is scheduled to arrive at the station after the operational hours of the restaurant, then the order automatically stands cancelled.
